The Beaver County Sportsmen's Conservation League ("B.C.S.C.L.") proudly presents the "Tony Rich Scholarship" in honor of Tony Rich, who served as the President of the B.C.S.C.L. for over 16 years. Tony was a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation, outdoor education, and local politics. He established the B.C.S.C.L. Youth Foundation to instill in children a deep understanding of wildlife, hunting, fishing, and conservation efforts. His commitment to fostering a love for nature and outdoor activities among youth was unparalleled.
The Tony Rich Scholarship aims to continue Tony's legacy by supporting students who share his passion for wildlife conservation, outdoor activities, and community service. The scholarship seeks to recognize and empower individuals who demonstrate a commitment to environmental stewardship, as well as a dedication to promoting peace, goodwill, and civic engagement. By honoring Tony's values of knowledge, the great outdoors, and advocacy for freedom, the scholarship endeavors to inspire future leaders who will champion conservation efforts, foster unity, and contribute positively to society.
